Day Dreaming Rainbows

I'm a stay at home mom.  I've been a stay at home mom now for two years since my daughter Rainbow was born.  FYI my daughter's name isn't really Rainbow,  but since this is a blog I don't want to post her identity.  I live in Seattle, Washington with Rainbow and my hubby Planner (also not his real name).  My goal with this blog is to post on a regular bases early education projects I've done with my daughter at home and show you a glimpse of my life as a stay at home caretaker.

Why the name Day Dreaming Rainbows? While I started creating this blog and my daughter was working on an art project, the song Somewhere Over the Rainbow by Israel Kamakawiwo'ole started playing on my computer.  It just seemed to fit the theme of this blog.  If for some reason you have never heard this fantastic rendition of this song here you go:
